Like it or not, Tesla's Cybertruck is an absolute unit
There was a time when electric cars were designed with people that love polar bears (and hate) cars in mind. Then Tesla changed the game, making electric cars for car drivers.
No more quirky exterior design to appeal a bunch of weirdos that, according to marketing expert were mysteriously supposed to buy a car to reach a tree and give it a hug. Credit to Tesla to have changed electric cars into cool green stuff that looks like made by Apple Computers. Cool stuff that is cool when it comes to drive also. Electric cars for people who like cars? Make sense more sense after all.

While almost all companies in the world are run by boards of bean counters that aim to be aligned with competitors to avoid any risk, Elon Musk plays in a different league and seems to enjoy it.
No OEM (and no-one in general) would even think about having a S 3 X Y lineup or to sport cars featuring the Ludicrous Mode, until Tesla did it.
Now that electric car market is growing, and many competitors are finally getting ready to fight, Elon took the game to another level, (taking some risk) with its groundbreaking Cybertruck. A fresh Porsche Taycan would give a run for its money to a Tesla Model S, but what can even think to rival a Tesla Cybertruck? Nothing.
Despite trucks market is almost negligible for the old country car industry, somehow, in the US it is not. For some reason, trucks are No.1 in the US and now the revolutionary Cybertruck has come with no-nonsense features like being bulletproofish (something probably warmly welcomed in that market).
Tesla’s truck features incredible stuff like its Ultra-Hard 30X Cold-Rolled stainless-steel exoskeleton or the Tesla armored glass (still under development, apparently) but also up to (more than) 800 km range and naught-to-sixty (0-100 Kmh) in less than 2.9 sec.

The style is quite controversial, but it is appreciable the resemblance with the stainless-steel body of the iconic DMC De Lorean and with the stunning 1972 Maserati Boomerang (both designed by the Italian Giorgetto Giugiaro) but there is also a hint of post-apocalyptic sci-fi movies in it.
The web is loaded of Cybertruck meme and maybe most of the “grown adults" think that it is nonsense, but Tesla got like 250.000 (real) orders in the first five days. This means that the child living inside us, the child we used to be when we were young, still wants to play and maybe would drive nothing different from a Cybertruck.
