The Suzuki SV 650X is set to debut at the Tokyo Show on October 27th 2017
Curb your enthusiasm, 'cause we're talking about a revamping of the well known Suzuki SV.
The pictures give the confirmation that Suzuki maintains its conservative strategy about motorbikes. The manufacturer keeps showing no groundbreaking motorcycles. At least for now. (Where the hell is the Recursion?)
Suzuki is terribly late to the neo-retro party. (A product category with high margins, and constantly growing in the western markets).
Nevertheless, this production-ready SV 650X is referred as a “prototype”.
We’re pretty confident that the SV 650 could embody the right bones to develop a post-heritage and easy-going motorcycle by Suzuki.
But Suzuki should try harder. It takes much more than a nice saddle and clip-on handlebars to succeed on the market. You have to deliver a cool motorbike for that.
