Right after EICMA 2015 Pictures Galore about all the noteworthy motorbikes unveiled at EICMA 2015,
MNW  presents:
The unrivalled top 5. The five most attractive motorbikes unveiled at EICMA 2015.

5th place: Honda CB4.
In a perfect world, this motorbike based on the CB650F underpinnings, should already be in Honda stores. The CB4 (not the other “design study”  with knobby tires, named Six 50) right this road oriented one. Will Honda ever think about production or will it remain just an unicorn?

Picture
4th place: Yamaha XSR 900.

The guys from Iwata delivered a neo-retro interpretation of the effective MT-09 powered by their great 3 cylinders mill.
Except for the nicely aggressive black yellow 60th livery, the bike’s style is even too much classic & simple but featuring the modern touch. No surprises, maybe the design is even too much ordinary compared to the Roland Sands Faster Sons prototype, but the XSR 900 is finally a road oriented interpretation of the current modern bikes inspired by the past. No chunky tires for it!

3rd place: BMW R Nine T Scrambler.
It is a Scrambler version of the roadster R nine T. Some equipment is less expensive than the R nineT such as the rims, the front fork and the fuel tank. That means that in Munich this time kept  an eye on the costs, and the bike looks damn good.

2nd place: the all new MV Agusta Brutale 800.
The bike has been entirely, w o n d e r f u l l y redesigned. What else? Uh, the MV Agusta “Tre Pistoni” engine, now delivers few HP less and much more torque in order to enhance the road riding pleasure.

1st place: the Ducati XDiavel.
Except for the name, this bike is brand new. Ducati entered into the cruiser market with their own interpretation of it. The Borgo Panigale way consists in delivering unrivalled engine performance and a lean angle of 40 degrees. On top of it a simple, elegant Italian style and adjustable  foot rest for the rider. Will the XDivavel deliver “low speed excitement” as Ducati promise? Yes, also!

Special Mention:

Special mention for: The Husqvarna Vitpilen 701.
Possibly the most beautiful bike at EICMA2015. It deserved a place on the podium at least, but Vitpilen overall style has been unveiled in 2014 on the small 401 platform. This time the beautyful Viplilen is features the 701 platform (trellis frame and powerful single cylinder engine) from sister models by KTM / Huskvarna. Design is essential, “clean” in a single word: a masterpiece.
We can’t wait to ride it, and we would like to see very soon  a model featuring the 800 cc displacement parallel twin engine that KTM is developing.
